In a nutshell, they hate Trump because his election proved that we don't have to obey them. Hillary thought she could sneer at half of the country and still win, despite having no achievements of her own to point to. She was only a candidate against Obama due to her criminal husband's coat-tails, and she was given a senate seat by the party as a consolation prize for not divorcing bubba. Obama gave her the department of state to shut her fans up, and she was a dismal failure in that job. If the Democrats had the courage to nominate a decent human being, they would have won. Instead, they picked the "mean girl" bully and lost.
