  1.  @trottingfoxinc  Yeah. I think the big reason Cinnamon gets semi-ignored is that it's not technically interesting. But if you want to do work, that is a good thing. You can take it for granted.

  2. So, in preparation for switching to that OS, I bought a cheap laptop to experiment with various distros. T420 for 50 bucks (New Zealand bucks, even). Evidently, a correct opening move.
