  1. At 6:40 there's a Pew question: "Do you believe in God as described in the Bible?" That's a very American question. There are a lot of believing Christians outside the USA whose honest answer would be "No." We believe in God as understood in and by the Church, with the Bible as one of the elements forming that understanding. Only in the USA, I think, is being a Christian understood as being the same as "believing the Bible."
