Though, and I hadn't thought of this before this analysis, he might want to actually keep Truth Social; if he does get elected (appallingly likely to happen) it will be easier for people to pump money to him. I mean, there's a limit to how much you can pay for a hotel booking, whereas there's effectively no limit for advertising.
