  1. Total bs. Only peope never worked in industry companies could come to such a weired idea. Even if it would work and USA would manufacture more it would reduce the living standard dramatically. Assume the USA put 100% tariffs on shoes. It means Niki can pay an US worker $ 2 instead of $ 1 per hour in Bangla Desh to have the same profit. How many worker you will find in the USA working for that money while Niki has to increase the price anyway.
