  1. This shows the difference between Hitler and Stalin, no General would tell the NKVD Chief this and breathe much longer. The nazis liked to think of themselves as civilized ( hardly a word associated with nazis) which is part of the reason no Generals were executed for incompetence or just for the hell of it. The coup is different of course. Stalin nearly destroyed his country w the purges but no one dared this kind of banter in the USSR....

  2. I disagree about pearl harbor what is destroying a few hundred aircraft when your enemy has the ability to produce 90000 aircraft? Picking a fight w such an enemy is a guarantee of defeat. Btw the us sent most production and huge numbers of troops to Europe what if 100 percent was directed against Japan?

The us and Great Britain would have nearly 3 million more soldiers to defeat plus all the tanks airplanes and munitions expended in the ussr. Plus keep in mind that these would have been crack troops not bottom of the barrel scraped together to fight the us
