I’ve noticed these new channels always make the same MISTAKE either willingly or unwillingly. For example, the Slave Trade associated with European colonials, they call it “Atlantic Slave Trade” which whitewashes any ethnicity or religion. However, when it comes to the Indian Slave Trade, they call either the Arab Slave Trade or the “Islamic Slave Trade” which emphasizes an ethnic or religion. This type of hypocrisy is why western historian and YouTubers who don’t see it or refuse to it become a JOKE!

@makeytgreatagain6256 You completely missed the entire point. The slave trade committed by Christian Europeans is given an ocean named (Atlantic Slave Trade) which excludes Europeans and their religion. However, the slave trade which also occurred in the Indian Ocean is given an ethnic (Arab) or religious (Islamic) name. I’m merely showing you the hypocrisy of western bias whether willingly or unwillingly by some YouTubers and educators seem to missed. Let’s either call it religious or ethnic slave trade or let’s not at all. But you can’t pick and choose which one you want to demonize more. I don’t believe all Europeans, Arabs, Christians, or Muslims are bad people. We should be honest with labeling of others unless you don’t mind being labeled yourself.

@heythere2115 Your logic doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. So in that case, you admit and acknowledge to call the other as, Trans-Indian Slave Trade, right? Don’t try to whitewash Christianity and Europeans who enslaved Africans due to racist religious zealots by giving an “ocean” name. Own up to it as you expect others to do so. I do agree that jews were involved in the slave trade heavily and most auctions were closed on Jewish holidays. Everyone participated including Christians since we can see Christian Europeans partaking in the slave trade using the Bible as an excuse.
