I just came across your video since it’s Ramadan now and there’s 2 Billion Muslims fasting for 30 days. The benefits of fasting both physically, mentally, and spiritually has been well known in Islam for a long time. Thanks for the video anyways.

@toddjenest3212 I think it’s important to ask that your doctor, but from what little research I’ve done it’s been noted that fasting does help reduce diabetes. Again, it’s extremely important that you ask your doctor going forward.

@granthurlburt4062 Wait what? Fasting from sunrise to sunset is literally the definition of ALL DAY man. No water, no food, no any kind of fuel or energy in that period. Also, a vast majority of Muslims fast two days out of every week in all year which is Monday’s and Thursday’s known as Sunnah. In fact, I was just talking to my mother and she was reminding me that she’s fasting tomorrow (Monday) as she usually does. This totals close to another extra 100 days of fasting for Muslims. 120-130 days of fasting out of 365 days is incredible for anyone to do. Lastly, of course other people fast but they do incorporate food or water in their fasting unlike Muslims where you absolutely have no food or any kind of liquid for the whole day. Anyways, hope that helps. Take care. Assalaamu Alaykum (Peace Be With You).

@J_a_s_o_n Again, not eating any food or drinking any liquid from sunrise to sunset is call FASTING and not “skipping” meals. Try that for 30 days straight and you’ll see the benefits.
