@nytn In the 1962 British Kenya census, the Somali expatriates were accorded their own "Somali" entry separate from the "African", "Arab", "Asian" and "European" designations. Somalis general had their own classification in when it comes to Africa.

@Grazingoat You are a delusional since most Somalis like myself REJECT colonial color system like black, white, yellow, purple, etc. Just because you’ve adopted it due to Europeans colonialism of stripping people of their lineage doesn’t mean everyone else has to follow suit with American or western identity crisis ship. Seriously, no offense but you need to travel the world more and you’ll see only America which is 5% practice this outdated and false color system.

@dhdowlad Warya, don’t mix truth with western falsehood. Kenyans are NOT the same as Somalis unless you are talking about the ancient Somali people who already lived northern region before the creation of Kenya.

@georgegalarza8974 Exactly! Well stated. Somalis reject any form of colonials specially the delusional concept of their color system.

@georgegalarza8974 You actually are absolutely correct. Somalis and other Horn of Africa tend to put their tribe, clan, and faith over any color system created by colonialism
