  1. Hello Vanessa - greetings from Poland So we say goodbye to Boston and the River Witham. I've never seen so much weed. A great description - "like cruising through mushy peas". Why is there so much weed? The Dinky Green Kitchen was spectacular. What a lovely array of delicious things to eat. And the bird life was incredible. Then catastrophe - broken engine. I'm so pleased you and Michael managed to get Alice Grace restarted and safely moored at Fiskerton Fen. What a gorgeous sunset. Fabulous light as you cruised along. A willow warbler, fly catcher and the swallow on its' nest. Brilliant photography, a superb commentary and a fantastic video. To cap it all, one of your best poems and a gaggle of geese. Thanks so much for taking me along with you. I wouldn't have missed it for the world.
