  8.  @TyrianHaze  we are thousands of years technologically, tyrian. socially, we're just getting started. you know these "woke" movement that everyone is so annoyed of? we are currently trying to figure out a way to get people to accept one another and believe it or not, it is kind of working. at least for MOST of the younger generation, anyway. if you are comparing the younger ones with the older ones, the younger are less racist, less sexist, and much more welcoming than any of the older ones. There are more people who are opposing war than any time in human history. During a disastrous event, there are people who travel to a different part of the world to help out. we are also in one of the most peaceful times in human history. there is less war now than it has ever been. I think you are observing our species the wrong way. you are not looking at the progress. you are looking for an illogical complete turnaround for our species but you don't care for how we get there. i'm sorry but it looks like we're both born in the wrong century. peace IS going to happen for our kind, but you and i won't be alive to see it. a species that survive long enough to be advanced should have enough time to improve themselves peacefully. after thousands upon thousands upon thousand, they should all (or most) be against war, and more empathetic. to only improve technologically would be a literal doom to the entire species because how would they survive if they never develop a culture of cooperations and tolerance? as technology becomes more complex, it'll take some time to research and explore. you can't have this if the whole planet is trying to kill each other. so once again, i completely disagree with you
