You telling us to not bring them back because you think there are no scientific value, but what if 2 generations from now our grand kids found something that can be beneficial to mankind? What if bringing them back can encourage scientist and engineers to improve cloning technology, which can help them clone our body parts for replacement in case our original gets damaged? you want to halt human progress just because you can't find a reason for them in the present? Then let go back to the moon vist. What is the point of that? We got everything here on earth. It's not like we use those technologies from the space program for our planes and cars today, right? What a waste of our tax money. Let go back to the invention of cars. Why make them during a time when there were no flat, clean roads? That would damaged the wheels. Just use horses, right? What an idiot that guy was. Why make planes? Did those idiots not see how many people died trying? Why improve something that had no benefit during its time? It slow, easy to damage, and expensive to make. I agree with you though. To hell with future generations and the technological progress of our species. It's all about now.

@FitzgeraldStanburyWeissV the ones who are trying to bring back the dinosaurs are only one group of scientists. there are those who are trying to protect and bring back the ones that are close to extinction. you can't expect the whole world to stop what they're doing just to protect the ones that are dying. that is extremely shortsighted. you need different groups of people working on different things for mankind, otherwise we'll never get anything done if we just only focus on one thing at a time. sorry for calling you close minded, but you are shortsighted, and very sensitive...

@FitzgeraldStanburyWeissV i get your point just fine. the entire point of your argument is that you wanted scientists to stop what they are doing just to fix what you think is more important. your problem is that I'm not reiterating it in a way that makes your extreme view on science sound like you're on the right side. which is why you think I'm trolling.
