  2. i bet she got embarrassed because she felt rejected by Paul, so she told the company and exaggerated everything, and he lost his job as a result

  3.  @KingTai64  Paul even said it himself that she had no intention of breaking up with her boyfriend and he told her that he liked her. Why would someone with a boyfriend and with no intention of furthering the relationship with Paul decided to keep him around? And Don't give me that she want to be friends bs because it's not. I'm pretty sure that is what happened. Paul is not that attractive and she was just using him to increase her self esteem. When Paul rejected her, she probably thought "how could someone like that reject me?" So she went and got him fired as revenge.
