“Fragmentation” is an odd way of describing it, tho I can see why it’s used.
I always preferred “compartmentalization”
When you get a bag of legos (logos lol) in a box that has an instruction manual, would that be considered fragmented?
Let’s say there are multiple bags of legos, separated by original design to keep things organized. Is that fragmented?
Keep scaling UP. How long does the most sophisticated Lego set take to “rebuild”? Can it be called “rebuilding” if the pieces were never originally United to begin with?
You have to consider the manufacturing process. All those individual pieces are called “experiences”. They are spit out of the machine via injection molding and out to the side individually until they are needed for a project.
Then someone/something takes a piece here, a couple there, and bags them up with NUMBERS for assembly by order of operation.
Sure, you can dump all the pieces out in the table and just start slapping things together, and I’d call that “fragmentation”….
But WHAT IF you followed the instructions to the letter? You always end up with a little extra too, don’t you?
But, man, have y’all seen the prices on those Lego sets? Imagine a child never BUILDING?
Imagine a Father following those instructions and then His Son gets a spark of inspiration to ADD to it? Iterate. Make it special and unique.
So. Many. Levels. 😂😂✝️❤
