@eljcd . . Thanks for your reply. As published in 21st CENTURY Science & Technology, Spring 2000, Pages 5 - 7:
". . . Using the European Space Agency's Infrared Space Observatory, E. A. Valentijn and P. P. van der Werf recently detected huge amounts of molecular hydrogen (H2) in NGC 891, an edge-on galaxy 30 million light-years away in Andromeda (Valentijn and van der Werf 1999). In their report, published in September 1999, they state that their result "matches well, the mass required to solve the problem of the missing mass of spiral galaxies." They conclude that the galaxy contains 5 to 15 times more molecular than atomic hydrogen. [For a second Internet news story on this discovery click here.]
"It is generally accepted that atomic hydrogen is by far the most abundant particle in the universe. It is also well established that about 10 times as much molecular hydrogen as atomic hydrogen solves the missing mass problem. Finally, Valentijn adds: "The halo culture that has grown up around the dark matter problem might never have arisen if the ISO results had been known earlier."
"Two months after the publication of this discovery, in a piece published in Nature, Nov. 25, 1999, P. Richter, et al. reported the discovery of the absorption lines of molecular hydrogen in a high-velocity cloud of the Milky Way halo (Richter et al. 1999).
Nature of Molecular Hydrogen
"Molecular hydrogen is rarely looked for in space. In most papers in astrophysics, the word hydrogen is mentioned without distinguishing whether it is atomic or molecular. Yet it is a well-known fact of basic chemistry that atomic hydrogen is extremely unstable, and that it reacts violently to produce molecular hydrogen, which is extremely stable. Given a bottle of pure atomic hydrogen, one would expect an immediate energetic explosion, producing molecular hydrogen at a very high temperature . . ."

The invisible matter has been found, yet all but ignored by mainstream science. Massive quantities of molecular hydrogen were more recently discovered to exist in galactic space, greater than the mass of all stars in the galaxy and extending outward many times the diameter of the visible component. This extended mass of the galaxy causes the visible anomaly where the galactic arms are seen to rotate at nearly the same rate as the galactic center. To maintain support for the "Big Bang", molecular hydrogen cannot be addressed, as this is the more likely cause for the red shift of distant objects, as well as the gravitational anomaly just mentioned. In fact, a paper written by Canadian scientist Paul Marmet essentially collapsed the Big Bang back in 1990 but has been largely ignored. He also theorized the probable existence of interstellar and intergalactic matter as the cause of the red shift, before molecular hydrogen had been discovered in quantity -- rather than the doppler effect due to expansion.
However, we "know" that dark matter exists . . based on -- mass consensus driven for the interests of those who wish to limit and narrowly define public consciousness . . Dark matter is a fantasy yet to be proven by something more substantial than funding and career building necessities that are a reality in mainstream institutions of science and education today . .
There is a gradient that has been detected that reveals the presence of molecular hydrogen that extends many times further outward beyond the visible portion of our galaxy in a gradient that meets with that of our galactic neighbors, and as a result we find that molecular hydrogen very likely exists throughout space, and the vastness of space allowing for sufficient quantities to exceed all other matter in the visible universe -- This is a revelation that must be ignored in order to maintain current unproven theories of expansion, dark matter, dark energy, etc. supported by politics within the institutions of science as maintained through funding and other requirements that determine above and beyond evidentiary needs in support of any theory.
To be in consensual agreement seems to be the prime directive in science today in place of an objective point of view and evidence. This functions in the same manner as a political ideology. The universe has an infinite quality that cannot be defined by a primarily 3 dimensional focus in such delusional theories like the big bang -- and this is the purpose of such theories . . to keep focus on compulsive notions of a defined and limited concept in terms of space and time -- the illusion of a starting point. Creation is an ongoing process beyond the narrowly defined concepts of time and space required by present day science, while the revelations of quantum physics and the multidimensional nature of the universe are kept in a box and compartmentalized within the institutions of science among a relative few -- except when a rabbit is needed to pull out of the hat in support of some element of cherished theories of limitation -- illusions in an unlimited and multidimensional universe.
