I've been to Russia -- Many of the structures are still from the Soviet era -- the old brick faceless structures that were in the style you say -- "rebuilt" . . The lady appeared to be in her early 50's when I visited Yaroslavl in 2009 . . She was a friend of a younger woman I met through a matching agency. I enjoyed my stay and found people there to be friendly and helpful when needed. The culture has taken on aspects of western culture in freedom and expression. They had a great version of the reality game show Cash Cab that was just like the American version and very entertaining . . We avoid conflict through the compulsive need for agreement by which we are not free then to think for ourselves and by which any point of division and crisis can be maintained. The true litmus test for freedom is a free economy with real currency, something proven very difficult to achieve and maintain, requiring knowledge, awareness and intent, something rare in politicians especially in high office. Putin is their elected leader, while many have family in Ukraine who have been suffering under the current murderous regime that receives human interest photo ops from our corporate media -- as well as military training and weapons from our government since 2016 -- doing everything possible to create the current crisis and forcing Russia to respond . . There are esoteric sources that said Russia will become something to help lead the world out of this current extreme corruption of mentality and unawareness. Our networks [US/western] and Soros are responsible in support by which through electoral fraud and by coercive means, the current belligerent regime has been installed in Ukraine, that was guilty of bombing its own citizens within months of taking office -- merely for disagreeing with government policy. The majority of Ukrainian citizens in the east are of Russian descent and mix, many of whom have family in Russia -- while these facts will never be revealed by corrupt media who practice no journalism at the corporate level. Putin has been extremely effective at fighting the kind of corruption that we all suffer from; therefore, the need by any means to create crisis and war in the region until the kind of government amenable to a few can be managed in Russia -- as elsewhere where we "fight for democracy" after inciting groups in nations that were too independent. @love peace and respect . . right and we suffer under the illusion of democracy as a result to a great degree in our lives, as crises are managed in the worst ways at the expense of knowledge and lives and suffering in the process. We avoid conflict through the compulsive need for agreement by which we are not free then to think for ourselves and by which any point of division and crisis can be maintained. The true litmus test for freedom is a free economy with real currency, something proven very difficult to achieve and maintain, requiring knowledge, awareness and intent, something rare in politicians especially in high office. This is something that Russia is developing today -- something that we haven't had the courage to do since JFK -- and he didn't remain in office long enough to see it through. Today we inflict our version of democracy on those who attempted to do the same, by proxy when necessary through the worst form of government installed by US/Western networks and supported by us in many billions of dollars in weapons and funding.
