Hopefully he was able to finish his cup of coffee

Russia shouldn't blame its soldiers, it should blame Putin for starting this madness
12
Good luck with changing Xi's mind

Being not from the UK myself, I see him for the first time. He has a great way of explaining the current climate in Russia.

@simonpedge All good, I'm from the Netherlands. No, based on multiple stories I've heard from emigrated Russians with close ties and journalists who are living there for ages. Apart from that, things like the recruitment campaigns and political trials are for real.
4
It makes sense that they start with one single country to further fine-tune their new campaign. I love the Brits, but they have a reputation.
3
There's nothing racist about mentioning the ethnicity here. Is the media only allowed to report about riots from other countries? Any kind of riot is just plain wrong, no matter who started it.
3
Believing that you can have peace with Russia is just utterly naive.
2
This would be a great location for a James Bond movie
2
@andreynagaets8736 It isn't a revolution, it's being obsessed with old Soviet times, mixed with a lot of paranoia. You guys are failing from the start, so it's pure madness.
2
@simonpedge I'm not from Russia
2
The hell with having kids

All I see is a bribed idiot, who's failing to play the 'hypocrisy' card. There's simply no way for him to save his ass, painful to watch...
1
<- What a lot of bots
1
Correct. Everyone who calls it an 'assassination' should be put in jail.
1
Not to justify this by any means, but this is what happens when the gap between the rich and the poor becomes wider and wider.
1
When Ukraine would invade Russia instead of Russia invading Ukraine, then most African countries would join the sanction policies against Ukraine as well. Why? Simply because Africa has strong economic ties with Russia (and China).
1
"opzouten!"
1
By not taking a stance against Russia you pretty much condone their actions in Ukraine. We all know that most African countries have strong economic ties with both Russia and China, so I'm not surprised by your country's stance.
1
@tutotutot5193 True and I don't condone that either, but referring to other examples doesn't justify SA's cowardice stance.
1
@tutotutot5193 You're clearly missing the point: they only(!) claim to be neutral, but they aren't and I explained why. If and only if this shield claim is true, then why not taking a clear stance against Ukraine?
1
@tutotutot5193 Sorry to hear about those students. Ukrainians and Russians best buddies after the war?! Not sure how you draw a conclusion like that. Taking a 'neutral' stand isn't like not taking a stance. You must be very naive by truly believing that 'neutral' equals neutral in this situation. No need to refer to things that aren't directly related to the subject. The world is far from being perfect, I got the message.
1
@tutotutot5193 True, us Europeans relied too much on Russian gas & oil, but hey, It's so easy to spit on the rest of the world without being critical on your own country. I find it pretty hypocritical to claim to be 'neutral' while your actually not for economic reasons. During the years we had way more peace over here in Europe compared to Africa, which is actually a bunch of failed states who can't take care of their own problems.
1
@tutotutot5193 There's a huge difference between having a problem and having an opinion about it. The war is also a problem to Africa (grain). I've met some fantastic Africans over the years, but you can't deny that Africa has a ton of active mercenary armies. It's just way too easy to blame the West for your problems. What you don't mention are millions of charities we gave (money, food, education). Without that help Africa would be doomed.
1
@MusehanaH You guys take that stance for economic reasons, so Africa is being a hypocrite as well.
1
@tutotutot5193 And I appreciate your insights. Mind you, not all media is bad in reporting things. I always believed that most of that aid wasn't helping much, rather the contrary. IMO the best way to help is sharing knowledge from both directions. I'm a big believer in local products as well. I think that any country should be as self reliant as possible. Keep in mind that most large mining companies in Africa are from China & Russia, which is a huge mistake, so in that regards Africa makes the same mistake as Europe.

I don't like him at all and he's still filthy rich.
1
@andreynagaets8736 So the NAVO is powerless? Say that to all the mothers of those Russian soldiers who died so far. Every dumb move will work against you. Just look at what actually happens instead of following the state propaganda media. Ukraine & the west are united and are much more motivated to fight than most of the Russian troops who have to serve.
1
@tonysherwood9619 Better be an 'activist' than a silly troll like you.
1
The pot calling the kettle black, as there is a price on Zelenskyy's head as well.
1
@bodhranlowd That's what both parties want, not just the West.
1
Why not send a helicopter to pull it safely to the ground?
1
By allowing China to take a stake in a Port of Hamburg I consider Olaf as a traitor. This is against pretty much everyone's advice.
1
@junksails814 The German Parliament, the cabinet, 6 ministries and the secret service.
1
@linghaozhang4076 2 important differences: 1) Those companies aren't state-controlled, so they don't serve an evil government (like yours) and 2) that other country has the right to invest in German ports as well. With China it's only China -> other country, not vice verse.
