  4. @adamdicker7802 First off, who are you to judge someone solely based on his protein consumption? That's pretty narrow minded. Anyhow, I consume 5 eggs in the morning, 4 x 175 gr of chicken and 500gr of cottage cheese. It doesn't take that long to prepare and eat that, so there's plenty of time left for a normal life.

  6.  @Mtvee82  For a couple of reasons. Studies are based on average outcomes, so there are significant differences on how well an individual responds to a certain stimulus (not just protein consumption). Also because older guys (I'm 52) have a less efficient muscle protein synthesis (Layne Norton pointed this out this). BTW, about 50-60 gr of protein is plant-based (rice, oats & veggies), so that's pretty much useless protein anyway. Long story short: I rather take too much protein, than just enough or worse.
