I think that the main cause is America's focus on cars for transportation. Have a look over here in the Netherlands and the rest of Europe, where we have a completely different infrastructure. As a result, people have more access to efficient & affordable public transportation, can ride a bike on a safe way and can take a walk for some groceries in a nearby supermarket.

I'm all for consumer rights, but this tells me that regulators need to change the return policies.

Over here in the Netherlands we changed our legislation by July 2021. Only bio-plastic based disposables like cutlery and straws are available. I believe this is just the beginning.

@dekev7503 That's a weak argument given the fact that the world population is growing anyway.
59
@tiffanyhwang1738 As selfish as those who want them to 'complete' their(!) lives.

I believe this is mainly caused because America is more politically divided than ever. I always laugh when some Americans call us Europeans 'socialists', 'dems' or 'commies', but at least we have a decent healthcare system which is still affordable.

Typical Russian bot comment.

Let's be honest here, the main reason to stay child free often isn't a financial one.
14
I think that declining an interview is also bad for a company's reputation.
11
@davidgrant6451 Tell that to the Amazon workers and a zillion others without proper education
10
@anthonynelson6671 No, except for items with an expiration date, but that's prob already the case in the U.S. (I'm from Europe). To me it makes no sense to return an item that is in perfect condition and is described correctly on the website. In case of doubt, go visit a local retailer.

Has the U.S. any railway electrification plans? Over here in the Netherlands about 95% of the railways is electrified, both for passenger and freight trains. One serious hurdle in the U.S. might be those double-stack freight trains.
9
And so did the oil industry. I'm glad I live in the Netherlands where we have efficient and affordable public transport.

Best of luck with poking Winnie the Pooh.
7
I was thinking the same. It just shows how disruptive this logistic process is, both to the local economy and the environment.
7
As a social experiment this guy should do a low/medium income job for a while, like being a taxi driver or a waiter. I bet this would make him more humble.

This outsourcing trend will become a geo-political nightmare for the West, esp when countries like China and Russia come into play.
7
@tiffanyhwang1738 So you think you know me, based on the content of this video? I would suggest you to think harder.
7
@primeryai Because there's a huge difference between childless and childfree.
7
You believe that any of those review videos are objective? Even some of those reviews are fake.

@redwhite_040 It's sad to see that such a great country doesn't have its priorities in check. I mean, it isn't just the inefficient & expensive healthcare system, but also basics like good & affordable education & housing for everyone, solid infrastructure, environmental protection and public services. Saw a documentary recently, where a firefighter was collecting funds for him and his buddies, insane...

@westeam4247 Switching subjects is getting old. Trolls/right wingers should become more creative.
5
And you think that 'poker daddy' is a nobel person by ripping off the poor?
5
@comicsandsoftime7978 You life in an amazing country (in a good sense!) and I realize it's not just a matter of putting more money in infrastructure.

Yes 'if', which is only a fraction of the actual trading volume.

What drives people to spend their time on watching these shopping live streams?
3
@gregorymalchuk272 Than what about the plastic soup in the oceans? Making something with a natural resource says nothing about the end product and its effects.
3
@TomikaKelly Do you speak from personal experience?
3
Given the number of dislikes on this video, the actual number of people who believe these vague theories is rather 25%
2
@Vine-l4j I believe they're applying for a job at Kremlin by showcasing their bot skills.
2
True, provided that you HAVE options.
2
@zloungeact Just take some responsibility. If you don't know your pants size, then why not visit a physical store?
2
@mikew2610 I understand it's multifactorial.

Their last decent OS was XP. After that they introduced very annoying OS's that kept 'informing' users for all kinds of irrelevant things, f*cked up the user interface, consumed an insane amount of disk space, RAM & CPU power, 'defragmented' the logical file structure and other 'innovations'. Hey Microsoft, I want a system that starts a computer and is able to run applications, NOTHING more. Anyway, I switched to Linux and installed Wine to run a couple of Windows apps and I will never switch back again.
2
@legendarylano4745 Haha, you just owned a 'native'
2
@sadfasde3108 not everyone is like me, so that's a straw man fallacy.

@7:04 "You end up building stadiums that are not needed" Ha, that sums it up in a nutshell.
1
@saurabgamerz8613 Me woke? Try again, LOL
1
@wainber1 Yeah, I remember his excellent NJB channel. It made me realize how good and efficient our infrastructure actually is.
1
@8:33 Sure... the truth is that most employees want to stay out of trouble, so they keep their mouth shut.
1
@davros3082 It's crazy..
1
@davros3082 Say that to Joe McCarron and so many others. Oh snap, they're RIP..
1
@davros3082 No, their stupidity won it from rational thinking.
1
@31:52 "that's not true.." Well, then please bring some counterarguments.
1
I appreciate the comments guys. It gives me a better understanding of the situation in the U.S.
1
@nicolasdenis7094 I wasn't talking about the situation in the whole EU.

4. When something isn't working, like connecting a CC with PP, you get a long list with "it COULD be this or it COULD be that". I had to call them to find out the real cause. 5. There's a low cap on how many funds you can transfer per day, which was only 1000 eur over here. 6. They have a vague ecosystem of multiple web addresses, which makes it confusing to know if the page is legit or not.

Located all the green pools on the map... That dude is smart

@saulgoodman2018 Give them to someone else or sell them online (there are handy apps to do so). I believe that both parties can do things to minimize that risk. Retailer/supplier: following clothing size standards and providing clear measurements on their site. Customer: make sure you choose the correct size by not guesstimating them.
1
@saulgoodman2018 Which is why I'm saying that things also need to improve on the sell side. To be honest, it's quite a dilemma. On one hand, you want maximum customer satisfaction, but also minimum waste on the other hand. The sad reality is that many clothes go to waste. Saw another docu where they had enough textiles waste to dress a 3rd world country, all brand new stuff.
1
@rainforestsanctuary-sounds6489 Yes, that phrase is like giving people the OK for their egoistic behavior.
1
@ligametis Which is fair enough.
1
@bobshagit9503 I have no clue how your online shopping process looks like, but more than 90% of all the items/services I've ordered the last +20 years were good. In case it's a new article or shop, then I just take my time by reading and comparing the specs & prices and checking the user feedback.
1
He isn't saying that much more than what I've already heard before.

@donsilverson9927 By buying their essential meds for a couple of bucks.

@Jalsren funny you, I'm from Europe

I take my hat off for their current CEO by being transparant about things.

I feel no desire at all to join a fake world, but I can imagine that many gamers and those who can't connect to the real world will fall for this.
1
@AnimeBeefRandoms News flash: no one cares about your 'gene pool' (and neither should you).
1
@tiffanyhwang1738 Better be a joker than a clueless person like you, and you're welcome.
1
@sadfasde3108 Which decline you mean?
1
@octaviosalinas4269 This legislation has nothing to do with paper
1
It would be a terrible idea, since most large companies do business around the globe, 5 to 7 days per week. The shorter the gaps, the better investment risk can be managed.
