  2.  @apep7188  Communism has never been implemented successfully anywhere, and I'm highly skeptical it's possible at the current level of human development. All economic systems rely on coercion and exploitation to some extent, as do all political systems.

  5.  @Pocket-Calculator  It was intended to be a phase, necessitated by the violent reaction of the ruling classes. The fact that it never progressed beyond that phase in societies that had never known any real individual freedom doesn't necessarily indicate a fallacy in the underlying idea. The failings of men does not mean the failing of an idea.
