  1. Nestor Pelayo Wrong. People are getting killed all the time because this country is swimming in guns. There is no other society on Earth as obsessed with owning weapons of war. The idea that you stop shootings by shooting more people is so absurd it doesn't warrant argument. You will never stop mentally deranged people or terrorists by threatening to shoot them, since escalated violence is their goal in the first place. You are only playing into their hands. Psychology 101, which you fail.
