  1. +My Boy Saying it's "original" about the US anthem is a bad joke. The entire song is a rip-off of a British drinking song called To Anacreon in Heaven. That is probably why it was never a good anthem to begin with; it wasn't written as a national anthem . It was written by a bunch of British musicians who had developed a liking towards alcohol and prostitutes...

A national anthem is supposed to be representing a country, you can't just take a drinking song from another country and change the wording. Not if you have any respect for your country, that is... You're just making a false comparison. This isn't a "cover song by a band", this is the national anthem of a country and it is taken from a British drinking song about alcohol and prostitutes. Any normally thinking person would find it a disgrace to have such a song as their anthem
