Yeah, 4 years without war already... this is so unlike America

@jaguarway5624 No, Russia is driven into a corner by NATO and does everything it can to at least have some buffer states. I don't condone what they do but they are not terrorists or even bad. They're just America-light right now, in terms of their military actions.

Next: Can the US invade the EU (with or without UK support to US)?

@YorktownUSA It wasn't a bad treaty. Iran was not developing nuclear weapons and trade with Europe went into the billions. If trade went up further we'd have had Iran in our pockets, dependent on our trade and scared of sanctions. You ruined this for no apparent reason. Everyone was keeping to their side of the deal and the outcome was more than satisfactory. We made money off it and gained a bit of control over Iran to boot.

Except Russia, China and the EU military alliance (not one country, but still it means no EU member state can be invaded). I also doubt they could invade India.

@agrosia5199 You think there would be infighting in the case of a literal invasion? I personally don't think so. If push comes to shove, the EU usually delivers, but only if they're put under pressure. Most of the time there is infighting, but not when something serious has to be done quickly. During the refugee crisis the Turkey deal came in a matter of weeks/months and dried up the stream from Syria. That's quicker and more effective than anything the US has done to try and stop their Latin American refugee crisis. When the US pulled out of Iran the EU was pretty quick in how they provided an alternative trade route for companies to circumvent US sanctions and keep trading with Iran. They CAN do things quickly, if put under pressure. I think that at the worst, the effectiveness of the EU military would be lower due to communication difficulties. But I wouldn't expect infighting. There have been much looser alliances in the past that worked well, so I really wouldn't expect any such thing as infighting.

Kingshuk Monsur Shut up, don't make this a race thing. We Europeans fucking hate American imperialism. We have to deal with radicalising muslims here and refugee crises because of US interventions.
