  1.  @A_Degenerate_with_Glasses  Sure, but the thing is you don't need the A-10's gun to do that. Less powerful cannons can do the same. You don't need a lot of firepower to achieve broken tracks or damaged optics. If a tank is peppered with 30mm cannons or even 20mm cannons, chances are you will achieve a mission kill by disabling the tracks or another element of the tank that puts it out of the fight. It's not an impressive feat at all

  2. Yeah, it can disable anything. No tank can protect its tracks and optics against all threats. A-10 can achieve a mission kill on anything. Other obsolete weapons can too. Hell, a WW2 tank can disable the most modern MBTs.

  3. It's hopelessly obsolete. Any half decent military can shoot it down with ease. It's one of those weapons that is great against a ragtag group of insurgents but mostly useless against anything else
