  1. The EU Parliament is riddled with money-grabbers. It's such a shame. The culture in there needs to change. I don't want the EU to turn into the corrupt mess that the US government is with their "donations" from companies.

  2. Problem is that it isn't just them. I remember Juncker being pissed a while ago when like half the parliament didn't even show up when he visited because they could take early vacation days. It's a general culture issue. I understand that the parliament is right now not very powerful within the EU and therefore not very interesting to take part in, but I would like to see a future with a trustworthy and decisive parliament that can strengthen the EU and before the parliament gets more power it needs to show that we an trust it. For now I don't feel like the parliament functions properly. There have been more cases of money-grabbing behaviour. Both by declaring too much money like Le Pen or by showing a general attitude of just going there and not caring about the work. It's unfortunately a real problem right now.
