There were women in WW1 and BF1 portrayed them relatively well. Russian female snipers existed in both WW1 and WW2. BFV is the one that is ruining everything, BF1 was at least decent (but the black German thing was problematic)

@Fyrebrand18 Nah they were allowed to fight alongside white troops, unlike in the US army. Hell even Nazi Germany had black troops fighting alongside white soldiers, and contrary to popular belief they had plenty of them in North Africa. But the thing is, they were extremely rare compared to white soldiers so it makes no sense to make a significant portion of the German soldiers in a game black. About your argument that most soldiers were backline support, etc. Most soldiers regardless of race were in such positions. Enlisted is enlisted and being deployed is being deployed. Logistics are no less important than frontline troops and may be attacked like any other soldier out there. Let's not act like logistics and similar troops are free of engaging in combat or being fired upon.

@bigsmoke8816 That's true, but they were extremely rare (IIRC you can literally count them on one hand, but I may be wrong on that), which is why having 1/4th of the German soldiers in a game be black is still problematic. If we were given the choice to make them black that would be different, but it is forced and it's a significant amount of the soldiers you see.

@bigsmoke8816 No, because unlike the black German soldiers there was an entire battallion of female snipers. That means the Russian snipers depicted in BF1 are just from that particular battallion. Black German soldiers were rare soldiers among many white soldiers in the same company. And I'll also mention we're not talking about thousands of soldiers, nor even hundreds and possibly not even over a dozen black German soldiers here. Seeing more than one black German soldiers at once would not make sense. Seeing many Russian female snipers together does make sense because they formed an entire battallion of exclusively female snipers.
