  1. How do you not think of Alaska? It's got the space, eg, even if hit, the damage to the state will be minimal. It is in the US, meaning majority of people wealthy enough to prepare for something like this already live in nations, that have visa free access, be it through citizenship or friendly country. Alaska has vibrant wildlife and friendly gun culture, meaning you will learn and obtain resources needed for hunting fairly easily, so food is not an issue and Alaska has plenty of water as well in lakes and rivers!

  3. ​ @belstar1128  That is highly unlikely. Sure, there would be a garrison around Fairbanks, but Alaska is the size of combined lower 48. Head North and you're safe.
