  1. Yeah, this is insane... What we really need, is to move away from income based taxes towards consumption based taxes and property tax, because that shut's down any debate. The house stands in country A, it pays taxes to country A. The goods were bought in country A, their tax was paid in country A. That's it, end of story. I don't care, that the property owner lives on Mauritius, has Polish citizenship and rent's out office space in Tanzania, France (Réunion) and Madagascar... Let them calculate local taxes into their cost of ownership and therfore price for what ever goods and services they provide!
