  1. End of oil will never come. Even after the time we'll extract the last atom, we will find a way to manufacture oil, so we can refine it once more. Not for fuel, but rather, for well over 10000 products, that are further worked on to produce everything we have. It is simply too versatile resource to die.

  3.  @Poctyk  If I recal correctly, that was NOT straight synthetic oil production. Rather, that was synthetic fuel production. While you're quite correct, that Nazis used synthetic fuel, we don't only use oil for fuel. Look into how many products are dependent on oil as non-fuel material. That is what I am far more worried about and why I say "we'll find", because for that we don't have alternatives just yet... or at least such alternatives, which would not cause even more harm.
