  3. There is another problem here. I think VisualPolitik EN did another video about this a few years ago, but look at what fields obtain their diplomas. Religion, literature... economics are the better ones. Very few people over there go into STEM, which denies them home grown workforce necessary for most economic activities. The university systems in Muslim world need reform and refocus them selves towards more practical fields, particularly engineering.

  6.  @chilloutcentral2097  Literally nonsense. Switzerland has some good lands for agriculture and forestry, but it also has barely productive mountains, on top of being lnadlocked. Both of which are serious hampers for trade, because you have to move everything by rail and road. Sure, rail is cheap, when talking vast amounts of goods. Boats are even cheaper, which gives Switzerland major competitive disadvantage. The answer lies in their adaptation to that geography. Banking.
