  1. Just to show you, just how morally bankrupt Ubisoft is, Anno 1404 is an old school title. It never needed any connection to Ubisoft. Even pirated versions (which is how I got into Anno series and subsequently purchased the game) allowed you to earn achievements. There was no need for an account with Ubisoft. Well, steam version of the game requires it! They added another DRM on a truly ancient game... We need legislation on this badly, because, to pirate another commenter, if buying doesn't guarantee ownership, then piracy is not theft!
