  2.  @magdak8513  Simple, back in a day, when women couldn't work, it was the job of the man to earn the money to sustain the family and then, when the man died, there was widow's benefits from the state. Meanwhile, the woman was home, runing the house and taking care of the kids. There was this division of labor, where the man provided for the woman's needs. Woman's wage was just in the man's provision for her needs, not money.

  3. This has been explored in Japan. Surprise, people want to be taken care off by other people. there is something that robotics will never be able to provide and the big problem is, that the things genuine human provides, that robot can't, don't scale well. Robots will be valued helpers in the care industry, but they'll be doing the stuff, that is hard for particularly women to do. I'm talking lifting people up, helping to push beds, this kind of stuff. But stuff that particularly women can do and that carry responsibility will remain human work. I'm talking inserting a needle to draw blood or innoculate someone, talking to people being cared for, etc. That will still be done by humans.

  4. ​ @maureenmckenna5220  riiight... And all those pro women schemes, to get women into higher education have nothing to do with it... I tell you what, remove any and all support from women attaining education and we'll see, just how many will still chose education followed by career over marriage and motherhood. You see, women take a risk, when bearing children and giving birth. Not a small one too. Two possibilities exist. Either women just can't compete with men and thus it should not be sexist to not hire them based on the fact, because they actually are worse employees, given they needed help even getting into uni or they can, in which case all those support programs are superfluous and therefore waste of money, which could have been expended on more/better resources.

  5.  @grannyannie2948  I wouldn't say it's immigration. Look at where you Aussies live. That's basically five cities and Perth, all the while you have largely empty Outback, that could have been populated, if people could work from home as policy. So I'd look more into labor and housing construction laws.
