This has been explored in Japan. Surprise, people want to be taken care off by other people. there is something that robotics will never be able to provide and the big problem is, that the things genuine human provides, that robot can't, don't scale well. Robots will be valued helpers in the care industry, but they'll be doing the stuff, that is hard for particularly women to do. I'm talking lifting people up, helping to push beds, this kind of stuff. But stuff that particularly women can do and that carry responsibility will remain human work. I'm talking inserting a needle to draw blood or innoculate someone, talking to people being cared for, etc. That will still be done by humans.
