This series tries to make Soldier Boy the bad guy but, he's not the spineless worm that bends over backwards for the woman who had his own child ripped asunder and deprived of a future for convenience in its own amniotic fluid. The story writers and producers want us to identify with Hughie because they want us to be content with our own [week]ness and Guy Know Cent Rick servitude to the half of humanity that resents our strength just as the show creators resent uncontained masculinity, strength, and conviction, as symbolized by Soldier Boy.
