  1. Externally, unless with men close to him? Yes. The stoic façade is essential. As a philosophy? No. Nietzchean Vitalism is the way to go; suffering must be embraced as an evitable part of life, loved, and channeled to elevate ourselves. You know who LOVES stoicism? Corporations and governments, who want their men to suffer well so they can extract even MORE from them without their respective workers and taxpayers breaking under the load. Stoicism is GREAT for those in servitude to merchants and empires, but it's a symptomatic suppressant and a rejection of life in favor of illusory peace and relief. Embrace Samsara, man; might as well enjoy the meat grinder before it's chewed you up.

  2. ​ @jace3504  We're a pro-social species; men NEED validation as much as they need solitude. The problem is that they seek it from gals, who detest them for doing so. The trick, Jace, is to finding a worthy group of men whose respect you EARN, or work to form your own which validates you as leader.
