At the end of the day, your family is all you really have, aside from maybe your tribe. My condolences for your loss and take as much time as you feel is necessary; stomaching the loss of a loved one without processing it in favor of the conduct of one's duties was the biggest mistake I've ever made and even today, I still wish I'd remained to get closure so, kudos to you for not making that self-same folly. We need to mourn or we will suffer in the long-run and there's no shame therein so long as your charges are cared for simultaneously. God bless.
