  5.  @theperfectbanjo8610  Unfortunately, I think this could be true and also because of the whole feminist movement, which I think is absurd. There should be nothing wrong with a respectful masculine man. Nowadays all the "feminists" want men to think that we "women" don't need men anymore. The fact is, I firmly believe that two heads are better than one. Anytime you work as a team, you can achieve a whole lot more. Because I believe that a strong household starts with a "strong man," they look at me and consider me weak. Well... That's the furthest thing from the truth. I just have a lot of old fashioned morals and values, and truly value a Man's roll. With that being said, I don't think that it's "JUST" a man's roll to Financially support the household, I think it's up to both parties to work together to create the best financial stability possible. In fact, I've been the great if you household and the "breadwinner" in many relationships, due to health issues, and other things beyond our control. I have an old fashioned belief that there's a sense of respect that is shown to the man of the household, now that doesn't mean that he carries anymore power than the woman does. It was just the way I was raised and I will instill the same thing into my daughter, just like I will instill in her, that she MUST BE TREATED LIKE A LADY, AND ACT LIKE ONE AS WELL. Too many girls/women nowadays want all this respect, but yet they carry themselves like complete sluts and wonder why they aren't respected. Well... Don't act like your a street-walker if you don't want to be portrayed and treated like one. A famous rapper once said... "A lady on the streets and a freak in the sheets," well... that's how it should be. You shouldn't be that "freak" for everybody, unless you just don't want that part of you to be "that special." It's really sad that we even need to be talking about Toxic Masculinity. It's OKAY for boys to be taught to be strong and even powerful. There's nothing wrong with that. Heck, I grew up with 3 brothers and when I was younger, they were all wanting to grew up to be GI-Joes, He-Man, and the like... Why do we have to change this things? I mean, aren't those types of things better than growing up and aspiring to be things like rappers?
