Ukraine isn't interested in The Biden's?
That's funny... You must not have heard that Hunter's "prior" company was finally found to be corrupt. How odd is it that Hunter "resigned" just a few months back? Not at all, because he knew things were heading his way. Daddy just stopped it the first time.
Do your research and you'll ACTUALLY find that not only did Ukraine NEVER close the investigation into Burisma, but that they recently continued with it, hence the reason it's now been considered a corrupt company. Not only that, but now there's information coming out that Creepy Uncle Joe was paid $900,000 for Lobbying in Ukraine. Next, Pelosi's own son is now tired to working in Ukraine, Adam Schiff, also has money invested with both Franklin Investments and BlackRock (both companies associated with Burisma- which explains why he didn't want Hunter to testify or for any of that to come out), and even Obama's own BIG donors were involved with BlackRock, which was going to in turn be a detriment to the US's veterans to the tune of losing nearly 25% of their retirement. Go ahead and fact check all this
And while you're at it, look into Crooked Hillary and her involvement with Ukraine, and where her BIGGEST donor to the Clinton Foundation was living... I'll give you a clue... It starts with "U" and it's not the USA. And he donated millions!

@Foldylokx
Just be glad that you might get something.
Many business owners won't get anything during this time. And just because they are "business owners," doesn't mean they are rolling in the dough.
When people have to lay off employees and their employees collect unemployment, that's great for them, but not for the business owner. They don't get to collect ANY money from unemployment like the employee does. And no work, means no income.
And for people with restaurants or store fronts, they still have huge overheads to carry... Rent, electricity, etc. For construction workers, it can be extremely tough, especially right now, because of the time of year anyways.
People have talked about other countries and the government paying them, well.... That's because they pay a giant amount in taxes.. Whether from property taxes, income tax, sales tax, or whatnot, the US is still much lower than other countries who have more of a Socialistic Society.
ALL the people have paid thousands upon thousands into the Government, so in a time like this, they help out their citizens.
Unless you want to be paying like 60%+ in combined taxes overall, I would be really careful what you wish for, from the government.
It sounds all fine and dandy right now, because of what we are going through, but having the Government in control of TOO MUCH, is NEVER a good thing...

@888strummer
I suggested to everybody I know to apply for unemployment, even if they are still working as of right right now, just so that's it's set up. I'm in WA state, but way out in the OLYMPIC Peninsula and things haven't reached here "yet". 79 tested, but no positives. Right now there are 62 pending and 17 negative, so it's just a matter of time.
I'm sure right now is going to be the craziest time for unemployment, so getting things in order right away is crucial. I've never had to be on unemployment, but from what I understand, there's usually a bi-week when you start, or something like that, so I don't know if people can apply for that right away, or what. I'm not saying double dip, just get everything ready for when they need to start collecting.
Plus, I don't know how things are going to work with "job searching."
Don't people usually have to search for jobs? Or is that only after a certain amount of time?
My ex husband was on unemployment UHHHHHH LOT, so I kind of reminder the process, but that was also nearly 20 years ago, so I'm sure some things have changed. I thought you were allowed some time with out searching, but I'm not sure what will happen during a time like this. I guess people would just "apply" for closed businesses... Or something.
Any input from you, as a business owner would be great, so I can pass it on to friends and old co-workers?
Thank you!

Yes, I know business owners cannot apply. That's something that I've been trying to explain to people, who are complaining about things. The fact that many will be able to apply for unemployment, is a blessing for them, but for business owners (especially the smaller ones), things can be a lot tougher.
People tend to hear "business owner," and think "oh... They'll be fine, they own a business and so they have LOTS of money." When... in many cases, that's not the actual truth. If you can't run your business, then money can't come in.
I hope things will be okay for you Sir and your family, and that all this passes sooner rather than later.
