  2. Too many people think that officers "WANT" to do this, and I hate seeing comments about that. Every officer I've ever spoken to says that having to use deadly force is actually their worst fear and that all the training in the world can't prepare you for the feelings you have, when you end up having to use it. I.m.o. this officer did what he had to. It's extremely sad this woman is gone, but in the end, the officer not only protected himself, but everybody else there. She could've easily started shooting all around her.

  3. @Michael  But then that means that when she rented it, he KNEW that he hadn't rented it again, and it was her's. PLUS, if he was going to rent it again (because of some "discount"), why didn't he ACTUALLY rent it and use it. Why did he only rent it for like 5 min after that, and then park it and not ACTUALLY use it again??? Seems he was ACTUALLY trying to cover his a$$!

  4. @Jon Dough  Some people just get tired, though, and don't want to have to "go through" anymore stress. Especially when you're pregnant! I truly hope she follows through, though. The media needs to learn that they can't do this OVER & OVER again!!!

  5. As a survivor of childhood SA, I'm COMPLETELY okay with this... Either that, or they lock them up FOREVER! SA can truly affect somebody for life!

  6. As a single female myself... It's honestly amazing how people like you can flip things and create a narrative like you do. You seem to forget that hindsight is 20/20, and when a situation like this happens, you have to use your training to make the best decisions possible FOR THAT MOMENT.
