  1. Exactly! My mother lost my Father to a heart attack on 11/17/01, after 41 years together, and my mother never even went on to date afterward. She now has Alzheimers and I care for her in my home 24/7. It's so sad when she wakes up at night looking for her husband. Even now, nearly 23 years later, he's still a part of her heart. 😢

  2. Some people don't realize that when you're with somebody that long, that they are truly a part of your mind, body and soul. They are literally your other half... and when they are gone, there's such an enormous hole in your heart. Losing somebody to a broken heart is very real. Especially with the elderly and something like this. 💔

  3. Him talking about pawning stuff and being in a tough financial place, doesn't help what his son did, trying to rob somebody and then killing them.

  4. Does anybody know if this couple had a chance for a plee? If they did and they didn't take it, that makes things even worse, i.m.o. Putting this heartbroken wife and her family through having to relive this and suffer more trauma is so wrong! 😢
