@mist2961 The issue with this, however, is that the guy who built it actually lied about all the testing and companies (like NASA & UW) who had allegedly done them. They have both come forward saying that they did NOT actually clear the vessel, like the guy said. Yes, there are ALWAYS risks with things, but with this one, the fact that the guy was deceitful about the testing, is a huge problem. If these people knew that the sub HADN'T actually been tested and cleared by these big companies/organizations, it's VERY likely that they wouldn't have gone when they did.

@sarahgarcia346 They were actually lead to believe that NASA & The University of Washington had said it was safe, when they actually didn't say that. They have both come forward saying that what the creator said, WASN'T true. These 3 people were under the assumption that it was much safer than it actually was.

@unsocialbutterfly5760 But if the 3 paying people, DIDN'T know that NASA & The UW DIDN'T actually clear the vessel, like he said, wouldn't that make a big difference? It's one thing of If the safety issues were checked and cleared, but if they weren't and he said they had been, isn't that a huge issue? These 3 people were lead to believe it was safer than it actually was. Heck, they even either fired a guy (whistleblower) or tried to sue him, when he came forward to talk about the "issues" with this vessel.
