@toasty9780 You are sooo ignorant! You have zero idea what goes through your mind when you're faced with this kind of a situation... She was literally frozen with fear, and then ran and called 911 in a safer place.

@dq8262 It's funny how people ALWAYS assume that you should act a certain way when you're life is on the line... Nobody knows until they've actually lived it. And even then, EVERYBODY'S going to respond differently!

@mite3133 I completely understand what you think, when you haven't been through it. It's very different though, when it happens. Some will fight, and others will freeze out of extreme terror. That's why they call it fight, flight or freeze... It's like their body doesn't let them do anything. Also, I think her "awkwardness," Is because she likely does feel like she should've done something, or wished she could have (GUILT). Unfortunately, we all react differently... that's all.

@glyphxr8164 EXACTLY! It's crazy how so many people think they'd act differently, but until you actually go through something like that, you have no idea what it's like and what you'd actually do!

@jshroud Why run to your room? Are you serious? She literally ran to a safer place to call, in case the guy came back up the stairs. When you're in a situation like this, you are SUPPOSED to go to a safer place. Not make a phone call right in front of the Perp & hope he doesn't get even more angry, when he hears you calling. 🙄

@geomejia8946 Yes, I went through a very similar situation, about 20 years ago, when I was in my 20's. Thank you for at least asking me, instead of acting like the other people in this thread. I actually ended up getting my CPL, as well as purchasing some different firearms. I would share the details of what happened with you, but unfortunately that's not going to make anything better... People obviously have their minds made up here. Hope you have a good night/day, wherever you are...
