@Truecrimecommunity
Actually, if you made over 100k, they discount it for like every $1000 over. I'm not sure of the exact breakdown for the stimulus check, because I knew no matter what I wouldn't get one, because of income.
In regards to unemployment, people were getting 600 PER WK on top of whatever they got from actual unemployment. That's why many people weren't going back to work when they could, because in some cases, people were only receiving 400/wk unemployment for a job that normally paid 650 per week (2600 per month), and with the extra money, they were now making $4000 take home, per month (plus the stimulus, which was 500 per child, 1200/ adult I think, I can't remember that part, because I didn't qualify)?
Hope that helps a little...

Uhmmm... I live in a very small town in WA state, and our town didn't lose any businesses yet.
Guess it's just where you live. There are NOW HIRING signs all over the place.. McDonald's, Walmart, Safeway, QFC, Taco Bell, etc, because so many people quit do to Covid19, or got laid off when things had to be closed. And let's not forget about businesses like door dash, instacart, etc...
So, I hate to break it to you, but you're NOT correct about most places...
