And what people DON'T ever want to talk about, is the Psychological damage an abortion has on many girls/woman. 5 of the 6 friends of mine who've had abortions, went on to think about their choice and became extremely depressed later on. They think about their Birthday every year, and whether or not it was a boy or girl. It's not just a simple procedure (like getting your wisdom teeth pulled), that doesn't have it's own future consequences. Not only that, but they also don't want to talk about issues later in life, with having had an abortion, and trying to get pregnant, or more importantly, STAY pregnant. 2 of my friends never had their own babies later in life. One ended up having 2 miscarriages and the other 4, and it was EXTREMELY traumatic. They still blame them on the Abortion they had earlier in life.
I think that if somebody is going to have an abortion, that they should need to have an ultrasound and session with a therapist first, so they can go over everything. It shouldn't be some "unimportant" decision...
People downplay the term baby, and call it a fetus, because it's "EASIER" for them to be pro-Abortion. That's the only reason they don't like using the term baby.
It's very IRONIC, because when these same people talk about a cat or dog having kittens or puppies, they call them that, or a litter. They don't say they are going to have a bunch of fetuses, or a litter of fetuses.
It's absolutely RIDICULOUS!
And we won't even get into the "vegans" who are "Pro-Choice."
Talk about HYPOCRISY right there!

Exactly!
I'm guessing you're saying you're both pro-life and pro-choice, but not pro-abortion? If I'm not, please explain.
I also feel that if Abortion is going to stay, that there's no reason it needs to extend beyond 12 weeks. If you're having sex and choosing to not pay attention to your cycle (AND "YOUR" body), that's on you. It shouldn't be taken out on a life, because you chose to be careless.
Also, in regards to rape (which I'm VERY familiar with, because I've unfortunately been through it more than once), a victim should always take the Plan B, and then follow up with pregnancy tests, to see if they could've ended up pregnant. With doing that, you're going to know by at least 8 weeks, if you're pregnant. Abortions, from rape, are a VERY small amount, and they are usually done within 8 weeks, because the person is monitoring things. In fact, the majority of Abortions are done under 13 weeks.
Allowing them up untill 22 weeks 6 days, and even further, like in New York (I believe that's where it's up until birth), isn't okay. We already have guidelines in place for if/when the Mother's life is PHYSICALLY in danger, so that shouldn't even be talked about with "Pro-choice" people.
At the end of the day, too many people are using Abortions as a form of birth control, and that's not okay. They were ALWAYS supposed to be "RARE." 2300 abortions a day, doesn't make them "RARE."

Just so you know, they aren't talking about taking away what's been in play for decades, with things regarding the Mother physical health. And even abortions because of rape, are extremely low. Like not even 1% .
The majority of Abortions are used for Birth Control... THAT'S a problem! Abortion was supposed to be "legal" AND RARE... It's definitely NOT rare, when there are over 2300 performed EVERYDAY!
If Abortions are going to stay legal, they shouldn't be allowed past 10-12 weeks. There no reason for that.
That covers rape victims, people who don't want children and are monitoring their periods and acting like adults, etc.
Having it be until 22 weeks 6 days (under 23 weeks), and even up until Birth, like they recently passed, is morbid and truly disgusting!
Edit: I also think that except for rape, that the mother should have to have an ultrasound and appt with a therapist, beforehand, so they know EXACTLY what they're doing. 4 of my 5 friends still regret things, 20+ and 30+years later. They wish they would've been more educated with things at the time.
