So true! My Sweetie has been a police officer for almost 25 years and hasn't ever had to use his gun. God forbid if that day ever comes, he will be scarred for life and will resign he had one night about 3 years ago when a psychotic lunatic was going some the neighborhood with a machete and he had his rifle pointed on his forehead. That was the closest he's ever come and that was terrifying enough. People think now that ALL officers have some desire to kill people and the great officers in law enforcement DEFINITELY do NOT want to use deadly force. It's their ultimate fear. If people would just shut up and do what they're told instead of saying like idiots, these things wouldn't happen. This guy would still be alive if he'd have just listened and not tried to drive away. Get out and take your ticket for driving whole suspended. Plain and simple. That ticket is better than being DEAD. It Doesn't matter if the stop started because of a simple traffic stop. Traffic stops are actually what kill most police officers. That and DV calls. Just do what an officer asks and stop being cocky.
