Categorizing EVERY female into one group, is not okay.
You seem to have forgotten that when you become a member of L.E., that you have tests you need to pass. Also, with that being said, not every female is some short, petite, weakling.
Not only that, but if she's smart, she will enlist in special martial arts class (which I feel ALL L.E.O's should take), because there will "most likely," be a situation when the perp is larger than ANY L.E.O. if you're trained properly, there are things that someone if a smaller/weaker stature can do, to subdue a larger or stronger perp.
The can also be helpful for MALES as well, when the perp is either having a psychotic episode, or is intoxicated on something.
It really ALL depends on how she personally trains.
Just because someone is a female, did does NOT mean that they shouldn't be an officer.

@hbomatt
Okay buddy....
I understand that you don't know what ANY of us commenters do for a living, but before you go acting like a complete SCHMUCK and like certain people don't know the law and are uneducated...
Here:
In the event of a warrant (even if it's a Misdemeanor warrant), a L.E.O. can enter the residence ( ESPECIALLY if they open the door and/or see the perp inside), they just have to be able to prove to the courts, that the home they are searching, is the "defendants."
Whether this comes from written proof: driver's license, last proof of residence, or even a witnesses testimony (family, friend or neighbor), there are mutiple avenues this can be obtained.
IN THIS CASE, it was VERY easy to tell that the "defendant" was at that residence, because her "DUMBASS" started Yelling at her Mother/Grandmother to shut the door (or whatever her exact words were), while she was talking to the L.E.O.
At that point, the L.E.O., has VERY clear authority, to NOT allow the door to shut, and this is for a few reasons, but the main one that can be used, is safety.
Perps have been known to retreat obtain a weapons on occasion, so keep constant eye on the perp is important.
In fact, unless there has been a specific protocol change with a specific department's warrants (i.e. certain ones go through SWAT, etc), it's very possible that a L.E.O. could make entrance without somebody coming to the door, if they either know the perp is in the residence, or see the perp inside, ESPECIALLY if the door is unlocked. The biggest issue... again, is being able to prove that the residence is where they reside (or the courts have issued a 2nd/3rd address-family's house, friend, etc.,).
And NO, this isn't a search warrant. Those are OBVIOUSLY a COMPLETELY different warrant (eventhough they can "technically" be used in two different ways- 1. To search for people- when their protocol is different and requires a "search warrant," and/or 2. To search for items in a home- drugs, paraphernalia, stolen property, etc).
An arrest warrant ONLY gives a L.E.O probable cause to search the premises, and ONLY search where somebody could be hiding (i.e.- rooms, closets, attics, under beds, showers, large cupboards, etc.), so basically they can't start going through individuals personal belongings (dressers, kitchen cupboards, bathroom drawers, etc).
Now, with that being said, if they do go inside, and happen to come across something illegal (drug paraphernalia out in plain sight, drugs, etc), they can make an additional arrest or citation for that. This is why it's best to just come to the door, especially if you're at a friend's house, or share your house with somebody else, and don't want to end up getting them in trouble for something.
Lastly,
In most cases, a L.E.O., won't enter the residence without knocking, with just a regular Misdemeanor Warrant.
Just be prepared that if you open the door and they see you, that they most likely, aren't going to just walk away...

She was making a complaint, but her "complaint" wasn't the reason she got arrested.
Like... Retaliation, like this ignorant fool is saying.
They said they were going to arrest her, if they found out that she didn't follow a lawful order and get out of the crime scene like she was told MUTIPLE times.
This idiot is trying to make it like the police retaliated against her, because she made a complaint...
NO....
The Sergeant, was just making the point that if he found out that she didn't listen to what the guy was saying, then she would be arrested.
And.... At the end of the day, she wasn't even arrested. She was LITERALLY detained and then released.
This guy is so stupid, he doesn't even know that she didn't even end up getting arrested.
🙄
Some people!
And he's calling us Ignorant?
Oh... And I'm Racist.. go figure!
A difference of a opinion, coming from a Caucasian now, makes you all of a sudden RRRRRRRRRRRACIST!
Stupid.

You seem to forget where they were. There wasn't the room for that. There was also "NO CROSSFIRE" because of where he was located. Nobody else could see him except the main officer, female, and possible one behind them, who likely wouldn't have shot unless both the first two got shot.
If the guy had dropped the weapon and ran at the officers, that would've just been an EXTREMELY stupid move on his part, and he would likely have gotten shot. They aren't going to take a chance and hope that he doesn't have another weapon at that point.
You seem to forget that once somebody brandishes a weapon (especially a gun), that you either surrender and sit still, or things aren't going to end well for you.
Especially in a situation like this, where there was such a small area. He was at the bottom of a VERY small stairway, that was completely surrounded by concrete, walls, a door and even a porch and stairway up above. There was only so much room in this exact situation, and trying to utilize less lethal wasn't an option.
You don't take out an officer with lethal force and use less lethal, when you only have 2-3 officers with lethal that can actually see and hit the perp.

Just an FYI, a difference of opinion with somebody who's Caucasian, DOESN'T make them Racist. All it means is that they have a difference of opinion.
You're going to live a very depressing life, if you think that anybody who has a different opinion than yours, regarding somebody who's African American, is then racist.
As much as you might not like it, there are MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY people, who TRULY don't care about color.
Do I care about people being racially profiled, heck yes I do.
Do I think the George Floyd death was wrong, HELL YES I do....
So stop assuming somebody's a racist, because their viewpoints on a video like this, are different.

Great points!
When I was barely 21 years old, almost 20 years ago now, somebody put a date rape drug into my beer, and I had something horrific happen to me. I still remember to this day starting to feel like something was off, but then BOOM! NOTHING, I was out...
I literally came to, while horrific things were being done to me. I couldn't move and couldn't even speak at the time. When I finally could speak, and told the guy, "NO! NO! NO!" His response was (CAUTION VERY GRAPHIC), "If you think I'm stopping without you either sucking my D or F-ing you, you've got another thing coming.
I was terrified.
I begged him to not do either, but that wasn't possible.
I tell this story, not to seem like some kind of victim (I don't feel like a victim, this was one bad thing that happened in my life, by one bad person), but because people really have no idea how things can happen, or what crimes are like, I thought I would share this, because this happened he a Black Man, but I don't look at Black Men now and think that they are all horrible people.
ONE Black Man did something HORRIFIC to me, that's all. In my eyes, that doesn't mean the rest all ALL horrific people as well.
The same go for POLICE officers.
Some are bad apples, but the majority are not!

@foltzenlogel
Thank you for your service...
I don't blame you for leaving. My ex has been in for just shy of 30 years, has been the lead Sergeant the past 15+ years (they don't have a Lieutenant or anything like that, just the Chief, then next in line are Sergeants), and he still only makes just around $100k, with a TON of over time.
Some would say that's GREAT income, but not really, when you think about the hours, safety, stress, etc...
Hope you have a great day!

@krotchlickmeugh627
You're dense, because you assumed that my ex was Abusive, because he's a Police Officer... If he was, I would have no problem saying so. My daughter's father was, and I still have a DVPO against him, even 6+years later.
With that kind of an attitude, why would I share why we broke up? Not to mention, you made the comment about not believing me anyways, so why should I even tell you??? It's clearly pointless, because you THINK you know everything...
Grave Digger? How old do you think I am? Seriously! And also, I don't need anybody's pension, I have my own money... And plenty of it. For your info, I own my own business where I employ 19 ppl and make A LOT more money than my Ex. I don't care about what somebody makes. That ALSO makes you dense.
Also, for the record, my Ex was GREAT in bed... Zero issues/problems there, since you'll likely try to make ANOTHER assumption about that, if I leave that out!
PS- just so you know, neither of us drink or do drugs either... way to stereotype and make assumptions. Maybe next time, if you actually want to know (which is clearly not what you wanted anyways), don't act like such a Dick...

When you commented, and tagged me and included Moody Juju, you don't understand, that what you said, was already a given.
What we had previously agreed to, was that if he didn't want to get shot in the first place, he never should've ran.
Your point was not needed, because it was a no brainier point, that anybody WITH A BRAIN, would've already thought of (of course people run because they don't want to surrender...DUH!).
So... Next time you want to try to school somebody, don't do such a shit job, that YOU end up being the one to get schooled!
It's simply Ridiculous and Crazy, that you still don't get what happened... And it wasn't me or Moody Juju who made the error.

@fredgarvin4482 Oh trust me, I can relate to that more than you realize! My own Father died when I was only 20, from his first heart attack. He didn't even end up going to the hospital, because after being worked on for over an hour in the hotel room, they didn't get any sign of life. Now, years later (I'm around 40, no need for my exact age... Haha), I still get pissed off when people don't pull over for ambulances... My Mother is 74 now, and still hasn't ever dated, either (he was the love of her life- they were HS sweethearts). It was extremely difficult for my entire family.
And yes, Just for clarification, regarding the ambulance, I agree. I just felt that when that guy tased him right when he arrived, that it was a bit much, but I can completely understand what you're saying.
I think I just originally had a different thought about the officer's actions, because I went to HS with a guy who ended up having a mental breakdown years later, in Eastern Washington, and he died from actually being tased too many times. It's not very common, but it does happen. My Sweetie is actually a Sergeant and has been in LE for almost 30 years, and he was even shocked with what happened to my old classmate.

@lawnman3638
Seriously?
You really want to come at me and ask me if they are real?
Maybe that's your own guilty conscience poking through!
My family's business has been around since 1941, my twin's business was started less than 10 years ago, and by pure luck is a multi million dollar company now (but he's a computer genius, so that's very different than both my business-which definitely isn't small... Haha, and my family's business, which my oldest brother owns now, since our father passed away nearly 20 years ago, from a sudden massive heart attack). I'm telling you, you are barking up the wrong tree with this one.
I come from a VERY different family. Not only when it comes to helping others, business-wise, etc.
My father passed away at only 55 (nearly 20 years ago), because he was doing way too much all the way around...
Aside from having a family of 4 children and being married at the time for 34 years (and my mother still hasn't remarried or even been on a date since), He was on the board of directors for our local bank, YMCA, Boys & Girls Club, Nor'wester Rotary Club, Lions Club, other mutiple local organizations, along with owning a very successful New car dealership that was started in 1941 by my Grandfather (and when my Father passed had 5 brands: Pontiac, Buick, Cadillac, GMC, Mazda).
You can't stay in business for that long, if you aren't doing things right, taking care of your employees, and ALSO taking care of your community (which was SO SO important to him).
PEOPLE and living by the "GOLDEN RULE" was the most important thing for my Father. The biggest thing he taught me in life, was what you can do for others, and how you can IMPACT their lives.
The GREATEST feeling in life comes not from what you buy YOURSELF; not the clothes, shoes, cars (and I have a love for cars... Haha!), Homes, etc, but from what you do for someone else. There is NO greater feeling than that.
You can think whatever you want about me, I really could care less.
I know what I do, and what other family members do for others... And that's not even taken into consideration my Father's other family members and what THEY do as well! We AREN'T that common do nothing sit back and let the world be suffer type of people...

@lawnman3638
Lastly,
I will NEVER just hire somebody because of their skin color. I HIRE PEOPLE BASED OFF OF HOW WELL THEY GET THE JOB DONE!
I'm sure, "as a business owner," that you understand that!
And with that being said...I have NO problem, giving somebody a chance to prove themself, but if after a specific amount of time, they (he or she), aren't doing the job as I think they should, they will be replaced.... All of my employees but 3, have been with me since the start, so that says something. Construction doesn't have a "low" turnover rate.

And if you're just being facetious with your comment...
I agree and could actually see there being more mass shootings caused from people having Red Flag orders brought against them...
Either when somebody shows up to try to confiscate them (shooting at L.E., family members, neighbors, etc) or if they get wind of something and decide to just say "F" it, and make a bunch of people pay.
Red Flag Laws, are not as easy as many people think they are. Not too mention, there tends to be a lot more wrongly placed ones, then correctly placed ones.
And if someone has one wrongfully placed, it can be extremely difficult to get it removed.
I got my CWP after leaving a guy who abused me, and when this whole Red Flag Law thing was coming up again, I started looking into things to see if it might have any benefits. What I started reading, was actually really not cool.

@Darkmortal100
Sorry Buddy, but in this situation, you're absolutely wrong!
The officer told the guy to stay in his seat with his hands up or on the steering wheel/dash (I can't remember the exact place right this second). All he had to do was that, and he would've lived. SUPER simple...
He chose to NOT do that.
At that point, the officer WASN'T going to then go....
"Hmmmmm......? I wonder if this guy's Mom was actually telling the truth, or on second thought... Maybe she was actually lying and he actually DOESN'T have a weapon. I should just air on the side of caution for the boy, because the Mom is LIKELY lying (because that's what normal mother's do when they get panicked about their mentally unstable, drunk sons, they call 911 *AND LIE*), so here's hoping for the best and that he doesn't have a weapon!"
Do you have ANY idea how Ludacris that sounds???
You want to play Devil's Advocate in the opposite direction, but then let the PERP mind you, not follow any directions/orders, and then place ALL the blame on the officer....
Where's any blame for the Son and HIS OWN ACTIONS????
Is he to blame for ANY of it???

Well, I hate to be harsh, but the way you think, isn't the most logical.
Not thinking about stopping, out of fear, ONLY makes things worse. It never makes a situation better, by running.
Saying you wouldn't drop a gun because of the cost is also crazy.
At least say something like, "I wouldn't drop it because I wouldn't want kids to grab it."
I'm sorry, but your thought process, is just VERY different than most.
That's fine, it's your own thought process. We'll just see what happens, if/when you're ever in this situation...
Will you run, drop your weapon, etc.
I'm guessing you'd stop and just be questioned, like MOST logical people do.
Running NEVER solves anything.

My looks have NOTHING to do with this. That's one thing that will get me even more irritated, because I don't look at myself like I'm some attractive woman or some great gift to men.
With that being said, just because I'm a female, doesn't mean I'm ignorant and don't understand things either.
It's guys like you who have no clue about women and how their brains work. We could care less about looks and all that crap. I have ZERO problem listening to someone and taking their advice, but it's not good advice I'm not going to take.
Also, you should know that I have my contractors license and own a Construction company with 19 employees, that I built from the ground up. Yes, I get my hands dirty, create plans, and actually do things. I don't just sit back on my ass and tell people what to do. I'm a single Mother of a little girl and I work hard and play hard, because I want her to have nice things, even if she was created in a horrible situation, that wasn't her fault, and she still deserves the best.

@vjm3
That's really ironic what you said 10 months about BLM, given what's going on now with BLM and the whole "defund" the police movement.
If people really want to make the police better, you don't DEFUND them. You ACTUALLY train them better and given all agencies/departments Bodycams. The fact that not all Officers are able to have them yet, is truly crazy if you ask me. My Sweetie has been in L.E. for over 25 years and he's never had one, because we live in a smaller town (which will obviously remain anonymous for given reasons).
All officers should be able to have them. They should have them on from the moment they get into their patrol cars, until they get home (since most officers shifts actually start when they get in their cars, whether at their house, or at the station- unless they are doing a bunch of office work, maybe that's a waste of money, I don't know). If people can keep their cells charged, we can keep Bodycams charged.

@TwitterFingers873
I moved the one comment over here so others wouldn't see it out of respect for you...
@L0NE W0LF
And you are still a kid.
I checked your YouTube. You are still a teenager.
I could tell from your writing and mindset.
There's nothing wrong with that. Better to be a teenager and have the ideas you currently have, than to be a grown man.
You will learn and mature as you age.
As a gun owner myself though, I wouldn't recommend flashing what you have. It's a good way to get robbed... SERIOUSLY!
You really don't want that happening.
All jokes aside with everything else we spoken about, I'm really trying to do you a solid right now.
A person I went to school with's son, did something similar to you, but put it on Facebook and their house was robbed.
It was really scary. Their dog ended up getting killed as well (they slit it's throat), because it was in the backyard and they didn't want it to bark. They ended up holding his parents at gun point, while they robbed them of everything valuable, and all their guns and ammunition.
Still, to this day, they still haven't found the guys who did it, and they even had cameras on their home. They are pretty sure it was close acquaintances of the boy, because of when and how they did it. They did it the night he was at a party and so they knew he wasn't going to be home. They knew about the cameras and the dog and how to go in through the back alley, and then the backyard and broke in through the back door.
I know it's exciting to having guns and show them off. I still feel that way as an older adult, when I get a new one.
I just turned 39 yesterday, but after what happened to my classmate, I keep my weapons private now... For the most part. Certain family and friends know, but most don't.
So... all joking aside, just please be careful... K?
I'll delete this after you read it, just let me know you saw it, okay?

@siqsa9607
Eeeek that's scary! Where do you live?
I got my concealed weapons permit after devising a plan and leaving my daughter's father in 12/10/14 (she was very little at the time), and eventhough I still have a DVPO through the courts (which the judge recently renewed for 5 years, which was nice, because before it was only annually), I'm not going to rely on a piece of paper to keep my daughter and me safe.
So... I bought a brand new Smith Wesson 9MM, hollow point bullets, an 8 camera surveillance system and a separate ADT home Monitoring system as well.
Some think it's a bit much, but when you're dealing with a Psycho, there's no such thing as being too safe! Hopefully I'll never have to use it, but just in case, I'm prepared.
