  4.  Advocatus Diaboli  You're NOT correct. Sorry that you wish you were, but you ARE NOT! You're trained to shoot center mass, not somebody's leg. That's even what they teach in other countries.

  8.  Advocatus Diaboli  #1. Officers CANNOT actually change their work handguns, NOR can they use different ammo. All L.E.O.'s have to carry the pistol and ammo provided by the department. This isn't like somebody's personal firearm, where they can do whatever they want with it. Next, you say this is the first time you've seen this, well... There are ARE other videos where this happens. Also, there are MULTIPLE videos where officers start with a taser first and they NEVER work. It's extremely common for tasers not to work on people who are either mentally ill, or high on drugs. So, then we move to the handgun. There's a reason it's used... And it's not to fire warning shots (those can actually have severe consequences for other people), or to shoot them in their legs.

  9.  Advocatus Diaboli  You clearly DON'T get it. You Don't EVER go for the leg and "just hope," they don't have a weapon, and it works. When you're in that kind of a situation, you shoot to stop the threat... PERIOD!

  12.  @klown463  Wow! You ACTUALLY think that officers sign up, to be HITMEN and that's why they do their job? Do you even realize that the majority of officers haven't EVER even shot their service weapon, and that MOST officers don't EVER want to have to shoot somebody?
