@ballsdeep2520 How does that mean she was wrong? They make replicas of all kinds of guns: handguns, revolvers, AR's, etc.

@LilLou97 So what if there weren't any shots at that moment. They had more time to think about it. It wasn't until the guy started to approach the area of the officers and home that things needed to be addressed immediately.

@ballsdeep2520 Yes, but if you only saw the handle/grip and he was covering where the revolver part would be, I can understand why she would've thought it was one, because of the handle/grip & barrel parts. If it were all black, it would be easier to tell from a distance. But given the characteristics of this specific replica, I under personally understand why somebody would think that it might've been a revolver.

@ballsdeep2520 Also, if people aren't familiar with the difference between a revolver and semiautomatic (especially the older female generation), they will usually call it a revolver, when they actually see a handgun.
