@RedFace1 I'm sure it was hollow points. That's usually all they use. Anybody who's trying to protect themselves will keep their gun loaded with hollow points. That's what I keep it my S & W 9MM. I was in a very bad DV situation and have a DVPO (WHICH was recently renewed for 5 years), and since I know that little piece of paper won't protect me, I got my CWP and a firearm. He'll be stupid to show up at my house... That's for sure!

@getmeoutofsanfrancisco9917 Just FYI, since CA is a "may issue," state, you can actually tell them about the things that have happens. Also, make sure to fill out police reports, because that can help in a "may issue," state.

@getmeoutofsanfrancisco9917 Yes, some states don't have it, or it's very VERY difficult to get. I believe that CA is one that's not impossible, but very hard to get
