@gamerdaddy8597 I completely understand your comment. Hence my second comment talking about how Red Flag Laws are bad, etc. I knew you meant one of two things, and was pretty sure it was the second one, after reading the other comments that followed your Initial Post.

GamerDaddy And if you're just being facetious with your comment... I agree and could actually see there being more mass shootings caused from people having Red Flag orders brought against them... Either when somebody shows up to try to confiscate them (shooting at L.E., family members, neighbors, etc) or if they get wind of something and decide to just say "F" it, and make a bunch of people pay. Red Flag Laws, are not as easy as many people think they are. Not too mention, there tends to be a lot more wrongly placed ones, then correctly placed ones. And if someone has one wrongfully placed, it can be extremely difficult to get it removed. I got my CWP after leaving a guy who abused me, and when this whole Red Flag Law thing was coming up again, I started looking into things to see if it might have any benefits. What I started reading, was actually really not cool.

Here's the right word you should be looking up: facetious: not meant to be taken seriously or literally: a facetious remark. amusing; humorous. lacking serious intent; concerned with something nonessential, amusing, or frivolous: a facetious person. Do you get it now? I know he wasn't being literal, with my whole comment about him being facetious and talking about Red Flag Laws being bad and everything like that.... So.... Next time you go calling somebody dumb or stupid, first thoroughly read what the other person is writing and make sure you actually know the words, so that in the end, YOU don't look like the Dum Dum! Just because I'm girl, doesn't mean I don't know my 2nd amendment rights or other things for that matter. Heck, I have my Contractors License and own a freaking Construction Company where I run a crew of 19 people that I built from the ground up... And yes, I get my hands dirty and actually build things... 🙄

@Darkmortal100 It's VERY difficult to get your privileges back if they get taken away with a Red Flag Law. Most Judges feel it's "safer" to NOT give them back, versus taking the chance, that's why they are so dangerous for people who really don't do anything wrong. People can just cry wolf... Say like a family member who's anti-gun, just decides to say your suicidal, because they don't believe in guns, etc. Then it's a huge uphill battle from there.

@Darkmortal100 I didn't even realize it was missing until you said something. Next time, before you go attacking somebody, just ask them! Both YouTube and other people are having lots of comments taken down lately... Especially with political issues and gun laws. They don't want people to see things about certain candidates or certain ideas, like guns... Don't just assume you know everything. I'm sensing a clear pattern with you, and that you DON'T know what either somebody's doing or saying.

@Darkmortal100 Also, how do you figure this police officer was abusing his power? He was told that this guy had either abused his Mother or threatened to abuse her, he was threatening harm to himself or suicide, and then his mother also said he had a weapon... What should this officer have done in this situation??? And again, how did this officer abuse his power in THIS situation?

@Darkmortal100 Also, Say I play into your dumb scenario... Did you NOT hear all the commands the officer have this guy??? Put your hands on the dash/steering wheel Put your hands up Don't get out of the car Stay on the car Etc. He didn't listen to anything, and THOSE are the reasons he got shot! If officers showed up in your "scenario" they would have a negotiator try to talk to the person... Ask them to release the hostage, ask them to put the weapon down, etc. Etc.

That you need to listen to an officer, and being DRUNK or HIGH isn't an excuse not too... You still chose to do it (get drunk or stoned), and need to listen to the officer. 2. You're supposed to respect Police Officers and do what they ask. That's why people like me stay alive, and people like YOU get shot. Maybe just think of it like natural selection. 3. If you can't figure out this video and what actually happened and how it was absolutely NOT this officer's fault that he had to protect himself, you're even more ignorant than I originally thought. It's VERY VERY obvious that you are still very young and learning things about life. You don't have to be a complete SCHMUCK, when you don't agree or see things the same way as people. With politics and Religion, there are going to be soooo many different ideals. Ask questions if you want or whatever, but don't become a raging Ass-Troll when somebody wants to be done talking with you. That makes you look EXTREMELY desperate and unstable!

You are CLEARLY forgetting that this GUY'S MOTHER called 911. She was so worried about him, that SHE CALLED FOR HELP!!! SHE CALLED 911 TO TELL THEM HER SON WAS UNSTABLE, INTOXICATED, BEING ABUSIVE, AND HAD A WEAPON. It does NOT matter if he had the weapon on him when he was actually SHOT or not! He STILL had a weapon at some point when he left the house, and VERY easily could've had it on him right then. You do NOT get out of your car and go towards an officer when you're asked to not only keep your hands still, but to also stay still.

@Darkmortal100 Sorry Buddy, but in this situation, you're absolutely wrong! The officer told the guy to stay in his seat with his hands up or on the steering wheel/dash (I can't remember the exact place right this second). All he had to do was that, and he would've lived. SUPER simple... He chose to NOT do that. At that point, the officer WASN'T going to then go.... "Hmmmmm......? I wonder if this guy's Mom was actually telling the truth, or on second thought... Maybe she was actually lying and he actually DOESN'T have a weapon. I should just air on the side of caution for the boy, because the Mom is LIKELY lying (because that's what normal mother's do when they get panicked about their mentally unstable, drunk sons, they call 911 *AND LIE*), so here's hoping for the best and that he doesn't have a weapon!" Do you have ANY idea how Ludacris that sounds??? You want to play Devil's Advocate in the opposite direction, but then let the PERP mind you, not follow any directions/orders, and then place ALL the blame on the officer.... Where's any blame for the Son and HIS OWN ACTIONS???? Is he to blame for ANY of it???

I even talk about that comment, when I say " read comment #2" that's because the other one was comment #1. If it makes you feel better to keep repeating yourself, GO FOR IT!!!
