@christian3514 Yep! My ex was in law enforcement and had a K-9 for many years and then he was retired and lived with him until he passed away from spine issues, which is very common with LE K-9's... 😩

@christian3514 I know what you mean. I had my lab from 6 weeks old until she was 14 years 1 wk and 1 day and had to put her down, and it was awful. In regards to my ex, I guess a lot of LE K-9's end up with spinal issues because of driving around and the way they sit and have to hold themselves. They truly are part of our family, that's for sure! I'm sorry you lost your pupperhead as well. It sounds like he lived a very long life, though... 16 is a long life. Take care ❤️
